Elementary Writing Workshop

Three-Part Series for Elementary teachers

 

This three-part series will address the following topics:

Ø      Deepening the understanding of the writing process

Ø      Implementing components of writer's workshop

o       Constructing mini-lessons

o       Conferring during differentiated practice

o       Using strategies for sharing

Ø      Introducing and using the writer's notebook

Ø      Learning and applying the language of 6-traits in order to analyze student work, adjust instruction, and improve student writing.

 

*CEUs will be granted.
