EBEC: About EBEC

Welcome to EBEC's website!

EBEC and You

EBEC has many partnerships to best support our community of learners. We have just partnered with Pearson to provide an online learning program which is the Rhode Island Connections Academy. STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) education is important to us that's why we partner with the Office of Naval Research (ONR) the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), among others to provide grants to give our teachers and districts a boost. We have many other partners like zSpace which provides AR/VR education for Science, Math, Career, & Technical education.

We house the A. William Josephs Career Academy currently servicing students from Middle School to High School. Part of the special services at EBEC include the Rhode Island Transition Academy run at Roger Williams University and the Connections Academy which is located in Barrington. We are a RIDE-approved training site for Teacher Assistant Training, and a Parapro Assessment testing site. We lend assistive technology in collaboration with Assistive Technology Access Partnership (ATAP), and ORS.

We provide Science Kits for many districts, charter and private schools throughout the New England area. Along with the kits we provide professional development training and refurbishing options. You can also receive Professional Development for Math, Reading Science, Restorative Practices, and more all through EBEC. There is a list of our partners at the bottom of our main web page. Contact us with any questions. Stacy (401)628-2019
